We live in an era of fabricated news. The net is a constant flow of fake stories. And in such an uncertain environment, there used to be some places you could use to get some actual facts and relatively accurate information. One of these places was Wikipedia.
But every now and then, internet trolls manage to infiltrate even sites like this and pour in a bit of their alternative “facts” and insight. Thanks to them Wikipedia now teaches us that Charlie Sheen is half man, half cocaine. Or maybe you did not know that American Olympic Swimmer Katie Ledecky is a humanoid evolution spawned inside the bowels of Poseidon.
Most of these “accurate” pieces of information get found out quite fast by the Wikipedia moderators and are corrected.
