Being left behind is one of the worst feelings in the world. Blue King, a gorgeous pit bull male discovered the bitter taste of abandonment when his owners left him for good in the Carson Shelter in California.

The poor soul cried his heart out for days, probably wishing it was all just a bad dream. Not even doggy treats seem to console him once he realized that his owners were never coming back for him. The caretakers noticed that he would not stop crying, so they took it to the internet to share Blue’s misfortune.

While some argued that the pit bull was suffering from an allergy, more experienced dog owners recognized the look of betrayal in Blue’s eyes and concluded that the secretions on his cheeks were tears of sorrow.

Fortunately, Blue did not stay long enough in the shelter to reach the euthanasia table. A caring woman by the name of Jennifer McKay decided to adopt and give him a brand new home. Later on, she posted pictures of Blue’s happy smile and dry eyes as he is steadily adapting to the warmth of Jennifer’s loving arms.
