If your childhood dream was to live in a spacey home ripped right out of a sci-fi movie, you might have just found the man to build it.

James Whitaker is a London-based architect with a knack for futuristic constructions. His lifelong plans for building innovative houses and office buildings witnessed a boost when he discovered the multiple purposes of old shipping containers. When he realized that people can make a habitat out of these metal chambers he began designing visionary projects.

One of these projects came to the attention of one of his clients that were road tripping with his friends at Joshua Tree. The arid lands in the middle of nowhere inspired them and they decided those were optimal sites for Whitaker’s futuristic houses. James immediately joined the project and construction on the solar-powered residence began. Check out this amazing concept!
