This Artist Found Another Use For Broken CDs, Instead Of Throwing Them Away He Creates Amazing Art
Sean Avery is an artist born in South Africa but moved to Australia who decided that broken CD’s should not actually be thrown away, just because you can no longer use them.
Instead, he started using them to create incredible sculptures, by gluing pieces into various forms, mostly animals. He seems to have no boundaries and can create any shape one would ask. You could say that he created his own animal kingdom.
Sean even mentioned that for his art, he only uses broken CD’s and old hard drives, so his work could be classified as “sustainable art”. He also mentioned that while they look absolutely ravishing, these take a really long time to create, so he doesn’t have the time to do a lot of them.
Long story short, the ones he already created look absolutely amazing and you should take a peek.
