Artist Places Fitting Pixel Art All Over The City, And His Vandalism Goes Viral

 

Let’s start by saying that this artistic form of expression is the vandalism any city needs! Tiresome non-sensical graffiti thrown in various places with no scope, esthetics, or purpose is obsolete and needless. But when you actually take a look at the surroundings and make something pretty or artistic, that makes people smile, laugh or enjoy looking at it, then you are doing it right.

And that is exactly what the artist Johan Karlgren is doing in the streets of Sweeden. Johan takes inspiration from places that could use some ‘spicing up’ and adds his own blend of pixelated art to these places. Using his imagination, and a whole arsenal of beloved pixelated characters (like Homer Simpson, Superman, Disney Characters, The Ninja Turtles, and many more), the artist brings a splash of color and fun to the dull places in his city.
