Design Company Ridicules Stupid Client Requests In The Funniest Way, By Showing What Happens When You Do All They Ask

There will always be an unspoken war between designers and their clients. Why is that? Well, because designers have a great understanding of what actually works when it comes to creative thinking, whereas clients have extreme, and many times stupid and unreasonable demands, because of their lack of know how.

And this breeds an ever-present tension that designers have to avoid using all sorts of explanations and fact-based arguments in order to obtain a good advertisement.

Well, this design company decided to follow word for word their client’s instructions and to not argue at all when it came to the creative work. The result lives up to the expectation, check out the progress below:

1. It all began with this casual photo, which started a reaction on the Japanese side of Twitter. It was posted by a Japanese company called Nissin Cup Noodles.

2. The company’s boss, however, decided that the picture is not “cheesy” enough and that it needs some improvements. As a result, the company said this, and started working on a second version: “Please allow us a moment while we fix some mistakes brought up by the client. They say it’s not cheesy enough…”

3. And the wave of changes washed over the designers, who, tired of arguing decided to just go with the flow and follow the instructions word for word. First issue: the hair, laughter, and product placement …

4. Then show that this is a “top hit” food, give the background a farm feel, also show that even “non-humans” love this product? (hahaha 🙂 ) – but it goes on …
