This Is What Your Eye Color Says About Your Personality
Remember that old saying “eyes are the windows to the soul”? Apparently there is a bit of truth to it. Recently science seems to be backing up this idea.
It seems that scientists at Orebro State University in Sweden have studied 428 subjects to see if there is a correlation between the color of the eye and their personalities. What they found is that eye color is determined by a specific set of genes from our frontal lobes, and that thus, there are specific shared behaviors in people with similar irises.
It is quite fascinating. And so, here is what your eye color says about personality:
1. Dark Brown Eyes

With nearly 55% of people having this eye color, this is the most common nuance around the world.
The darkness of the eyes is attributed to melanin, the substance that darkens pigmentation. Another role melanin has is that it acts as an insulator for connections between brain cells. Thus, the more melanin one has, the quicker his brain connections. This means people with darker eyes have a bit faster coordination, and a faster capacity to react and think.
In terms of personality people with dark brown eyes evolve as leaders and are less likely to have vices or addictions. They are generally psychically apt and possess good mental strength.
