Because Sam decided that instead of buying a souvenir from a place he visits, he can just personally knit sweaters of different places and then visit the exact spot and capture the moment in these awesome photos.

Sam’s journey started back in 1999, when, after signing up to a lot of knitting classes that got canceled due to low participants, he found this local shop that would teach him how to knit if he used their yarn. Soon enough, he started knitting sweaters with diverse scenery, landmarks, holiday, and more, each with an interesting story behind. Then, he decided to wear them when he would be visiting the location pictured on the sweater. Genius idea, right? Well, the Internet thought so and so do we!
