This Guy Took His Son’s Basic Doodles And Created Real Awesome Anime Characters

When your dad works in a creative industry, as a child, you must take full advantage of that. He is a creator, he can make things come alive and there’s nothing better. But in this case, the roles were reversed.

Thomas Romain is a French artist who relocated to Tokyo. He worked on diverse anime series, such as Aria, Space Dandy, Symphogear and Basquash! Due to his creative side, when his son started doodling, he saw an opportunity in this and created an anime series, called the Father and The Son Design Workshop. Basically, Thomas took his son’s doodling and turned them into full anime characters, but not without adding his own personal touch on the design.

Soon enough, they created various characters, from steampunk doctors to aliens, knights, and cyborgs. Now, this is a great way of spending time with your son!
