Hilariously Awkward Christian Album Covers from Back in the Day

Oh boy, vintage Christian album covers are a treasure trove of awkwardness and hilarity! I can’t believe some of the titles and designs that were deemed appropriate back in the day. The saying goes “the higher the hair, the closer to God”, and though that may be true, these album covers are truly in a league of their own.

We saw everything from awkward family photos to bizarre illustrations and a wide assortment of funky hairdos, all clumsily pictured on those vintage album covers, in the name of spreading the gospel.

And then there are the titles… Some are unintentionally hilarious, like “He Touched Me,” while others are just plain weird, like “Jesus Use Me.” But no matter how awkward or cheesy they may be, these vintage Christian album covers are a testament to the creativity and passion of those who made them!
