Huge Silverback Gorilla Makes A New Friend As Big As A Thumb And Their Relationship Is Heart-Melting

While we may never get over Harambe’s death, it does not mean that we cannot open our hearts to another gorilla. The latest entry in our list of “most adored gentle giants” is Bobo, a Western Lowland Gorilla that is in the care of Ape Action Africa sanctuary.

Bobo gave us all another chance to observe the kindness of these animals when he encountered a young, wild bush baby in his enclosure.

It is very probable that Bobo had never seen a bush baby in his entire 24-year life. This lack of experience did not trigger anything more than curiosity and affection in his heart, as he cared for the little guy for a few hours.

The bush baby also felt comfortable in the presence of a creature that is several thousand times his size. He hopped around and attached itself to the great ape before Bobo carefully returned it to a set of trees within his enclosure, leaving the bystanders to witness the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
