LEGO Builds a Functioning Bugatti Chiron From Over a Million LEGO Bricks, And It’s Awesome
Lego Technic was sold with the simple promise that you could “build for real”, and boy did Lego mean it when they said that. The company created a full-scale, drivable replica of a Bugatti Chiron from LEGO to back up this claim, and it’s the greatest thing ever made from LEGO.
Over a million LEGO Technic pieces went into make the “car”, giving it a total weight of around 1,500 kgs/ 3,300 lbs. It took 13,400 man-hours to put it all together, and the most impressive part of the car is under the hood; 2,304 LEGO Power Function motors put together to generate around 5,3 horsepower to give the car a top speed of around 18 miles per hour.
