We love to see jaw-dropping transformations, incredible before and after photos, and get all the latest interior design tips and tricks. But what happens when we come across some truly ugly interiors in the wild? It’s like finding a needle in a haystack, but when it happens, it can be priceless.

Enter “Please Hate These Things”, an Instagram account created by US interior designer Dina Holland. With over 548,000 followers, the account showcases the absolute worst of the worst when it comes to home design. We’re talking “Satan fireplaces,” showers that spray directly into the toilet, and other design crimes that make you want to run for the hills.

And don’t think an Instagram filter will save your eyes from the horror of these interiors. Once you start scrolling, you won’t be able to look away. So go ahead, take a peek for yourself.
