He Had Saved 669 Children From The Holocaust And His Reaction Is So Touching When He Gets To Meet Them Years Later

Nicholas Winton was a young British boy in 1939 when he decided to risk his own life and successfully saved no less than 669 children from the Holocaust. He made sure that the children reached Britain safely.

For 50 years he kept his mouth shut as if nothing had happened and as if he wasn’t a hero in so many people’s eyes. Until the day his wife found a notebook in the attic with the names, pictures and even documents of the children he saved.

He was later on invited to be an audience member on the BBC show “That’s Life”, being unaware that the children he saved were actually sitting right next to him! In all honesty, they wouldn’t be alive if it weren’t for him. He couldn’t believe his eyes when half of the audience stood up when the moderator asked the people to stand up if their life had been saved by Sir Nicholas Winton!
