When I say Libraries, I always think of bastions of knowledge and places of utmost silence and respect for learning. And when I say Librarian, I imagine that guardian that is always there to quiet you if you speak to loud or to guide you on the fastest path to answers. Some sort of austere mythical human being that is there to keep balance in these institutions of wisdom.

But, wow, how these following librarians contradict my vision of their “kind”. These people have such a fine sense of humor that they surprised us all.

From making fun of weird visitor requests, to motivating students in super creative manners, here are some awesome times when librarians really showed their awesome sense of humor:
