Toe Eyes: Realistic Eyeball Toenail Art Takes Pedicure To A New Level

So, have you ever heard of toenail art? Yeah, me neither. But apparently, it’s a thing, and California-based nail artist Tahvya Krok is killing the game with her creepy yet impressive designs.

One of Krok’s most recent designs caught the attention of beauty enthusiasts everywhere, and it’s not hard to see why. Krok created a pedicure that features ten toes adorned with little eyeballs. Yes, you read that right. Eyeballs. The irises look incredibly lifelike, with all the faint strokes surrounding the pitch-black pupils. The eyelids are even raised to give a more realistic effect.

Now, I don’t know about you, but the last time I saw an eye on someone’s toe was when my friend dressed up as a zombie for Halloween, and her toenails were falling off. But Krok’s design takes it to a whole new level with lifelike details like hazel irises, light blue pupils, and even raised eyelids. It’s so realistic, you’ll be doing a double-take just like I did.

It took Krok three hours to complete this original design, which was inspired by one of her previous sets, and was created for her client Benny Blanco.

Krok’s work is all hand-painted, and she takes great care to sculpt the nail to her liking before starting the design. Her appointments can take anywhere from two to four hours, which may seem like a long time, but Krok’s clients always leave her chair with a smile.

If eyeball toenails aren’t your thing, don’t worry. Krok’s work is as diverse as it is impressive. From kooky designs like this one to conventionally beautiful ombré manicures, Krok always prioritizes giving her clients a one-of-a-kind design.

So, if you’re ever in California and feel like sitting for a two to four-hour nail appointment, you know who to call. Just maybe don’t ask for the eyeball pedicure if you’re easily creeped out.
