A few days passed from the incident and Walsh was invited to his manager’s office. He was questioned about the money he’d found and why it took him so long to bring it in after finding it.

Walsh said that his manager had video surveillance showing that half an hour had passed from the moment he’d found the money in the parking lot and until he handed it it. However, he was not allowed to defend himself and to explain his reasons, and was simply “treated like a common criminal”, Walsh tells the media.
