Penelope was adopted by Kayla, who was living with a chronic illness, three years ago when she was just eight weeks old. Before she became a part of Kayla’s life, her previous owners had informed her that there was something special about Penelope. Upon meeting her for the first time, Kayla was struck by the pup’s calm demeanor, which was in stark contrast to her uncontrollable siblings. Kayla fell in love with Penelope at first sight and she has been her faithful companion ever since, providing comfort and joy in their home in Gardner, Kansas.

Kayla started an Instagram account for her lovable pet after people took a liking to the photos she posted online.
