Your hands have a very complex structure. There are over 27 bones, 29 joints and 123 ligaments in your hands. And the overall structure of our hands has been the main tool of evolution of the human race primitive times and up to present day, allowing us to grip, interact, investigate and create over this vast chunk of time.

Apparently, hands can be good for something else as well. They can be a good indicative for our personality.

 

What does this mean for you?

First thing is first. You need to check the size of your hand. You won’t be needing a tape measure for that, so put it away. All we are interested in is the relative size of your hands, not their absolute size.

Make a 45° angle with your left arm, elbow and left forearm. Use your right hand now, and place your thumb on the inside part of your elbow. Stretch your hand and your middle finger toward your wrist. If you can reach it with your middle finger, then it means you have large hands. Evidently, if you don’t, then it means you’re in the small handed category.

Having large hands says that you’re most likely a perfectionist. You like doing things right, you concentrate a lot of details, and sometimes you would even prefer pushing deadlines a bit, in order to get things done the right way. In addition to this, large hands indicate a sensitive nature.
