In most countries all around the world, Labradors and Golden Retrievers are the most popular dog breed. And it’s not hard to see why. They are fun, loveable, people-oriented, very obedient, yet always curious. And also, under all that goofy appearance and behavior there lies a very keen and sharp canine intelligence, as they are one of the smartest breeds out there.

They originally came from Newfoundland, where they were bred to help hunters and fishermen to retrieve their nets and game. These days Labradors are commonly used as guide dogs and comfort pets for the disabled. Golden Retrievers and Labrador retrievers are very similar with only slight differences. They are highly energetic dogs that need plenty of exercise but always have the time for a cuddle!
