Being a waiter is not as easy as it seems. You need to be permanently on your toes with an impeccable image and a courteous attitude even when the customers do not reward you with the same level of respect.

Many waiters find a consolation for their daily labor in the tip that they receive for their efforts. When they do not collect a gratuity that matches their hard work they feel disappointed and unfulfilled. And this is what a waiter felt when a group of customers that he had treated highly departed the restaurant leaving a mere tip of just $3.28, which was six times less than the common 10% tip.

1. A Waiter has to work non stop always busy carrying food and drinks for the customers. There’s little time to rest so the job is demanding. And what makes this worse, is when you aren’t even tipped properly for the effort!
